🇨🇦 I am a Toronto-based UI/UX designer.
👩🏻💻 Prior to my design career, I worked as an officer at a university. It wasn't until I was asked to redesign the department website that I discovered my passion for UX/UI design.
🤤 I began by gathering feedback from students and then moved on to creating wireframes and implementing designs. The project received praise from both managers and students, and I found a deep sense of satisfaction in the design process. I want more! I am craving design! 🥳
👯 Wanting to expand my knowledge, I enrolled in a part-time UX/UI design course and continued to network with industry professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in tech and design.
🤟🏻 With blood, sweat, and tears, I eventually landed my first design job at an agency and I'm excited to utilize my design thinking skills to help clients achieve their goals. 😇
🤔 Fun facts about me:
Hit me up if you are a YOGI 🧘
Connect me if you love TRAVELLING 🌎
Tell me if you are a MATCHA LOVER 🍵
Let me know if you are a BTS A.R.M.Y 💜
Having good communication with stakeholders is vital. I am patient to convey my ideas clearly to my teammates to avoid any misunderstanding. On top of that, I love attending all kinds of industrial activities such as seminars/Figjam to receive the latest trend and connect with talents.
Creating user-centered solutions is my goal. I keep updated on the UI design development and interact with design suggestions with international designers. By sharing the design vision, I could apply my creativity in the design process.
I developed my listening skills when I was an officer at the University. I collected opinions from students to understand what activities could develop their mental growth. By listening to the users with empathy, we could customize a solution for them.
